The AKC-Story

The AKC-GROUP OF COMPANIES resting firmly on a sound financial base, started out with the establishment of KUNSTOPLAST in Celle, Germany in 1973. From its very inception, the philosophy of the company has been to specialize in the field of plastic raw materials on a world wide scale. With a well planned and far-sighted strategy, the company has built up an enviable reputation and carved a place of pride in this field.

The company's further growth has been partly generated by a paramount concern to provide result-oriented answers to customer's specific needs through supplying products and services which would contribute to his success and, in consequence, to our own growth. Growth was partly also generated by thinking which was always ahead of its times, devising ways and means of remaining competitive in the market, tomorrow, the day after, and beyond.

Driven by such factors, the company undertook far reaching expansion, as opportunities kept knocking on the door. Over the years, 15 companies, commanding a force of 3600 employees, have been established, not only in plastics but also in fields such as transfer of technology, plant and machinery, design development and production of automotive and appliances components, Ayurvedic and Herbal medicines, Baby Healthcare products, finance, shipping, personnel management.

Exports of plant and machinery and technology transfer to the developing countries are handled by TECHNICOM CHEMIE (INDIA) LTD. The AKC-House in New Delhi has steadily expanded its activities in order to keep pace with the growing business in India and other Asian countries .

While its specialized diversification continues in business the group gave considerable importance to establishing of educational institutions with the mission of blending the best of East and West. Consequently, a chain of higher secondary schools- AMITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS and higher education professional institutes have been created by the RITNAND BALVED EDUCATION FOUNDATION. Each of these institutions excels itself in the real world and aims to be a catalyst towards developing in an individual all that he is capable of and even more.
